What is a monogram?

A monogram tells a story. It suggests who we are or want to be, puts forth our views on marriage, tradition, and individual identity not to mention the wonderful things it does for linens, stationery and silverware. A monogram consists of a person's initials — usually a variation on the first, middle, and last name.

What is proper monogram etiquette?

Ladies:  First Name, LAST NAME, Middle Name.

Married Ladies:  First Name, LAST NAME, Maiden name (or middle name if you prefer). Generally when a woman is married, the middle name leaves her monogram and is replaced by her maiden name.

Married Couples:  Bride's First Name, LAST NAME, groom's first name. However, this monogram style is traditionally not used until after a wedding ceremony.

How do I enter my monogram initials?

Traditional monogram style is First name initial, LAST name initial, Middle Initial (the last initial larger in the middle.) When ordering, you will be asked to give us your initials in order first LAST middle. If you would like it a different way than traditional, please let us know by making a note in the "comments" section of the order from so there is no confusion. 

Can I personalize something without a monogram (aka, a name or initials)?

Each item has been hand selected by our team to show what personalization is best for the specific product. If you would like something different from what the form requires you to fill out, please explain in the "comments" section of the product form. We will let you know if your special request is possible! However, some products personalization style can not be changed.

How long will it take for me to receive my order?

Please allow three weeks for all personalized orders unless otherwise stated. This is subject to change especially during the holidays.

What is your Return Policy?

There are no returns or exchanges on our monogrammed items.  The reason for this is because once we stitch an item, it cannot be undone.  Therefore, that item is no longer able to be used.  We cannot accept an exchange and/or return if you ordered the wrong size or you don't like the color thread you chose.  If there is a mistake on our end, we will be glad to fix it or offer you a refund.  With this being said, PLEASE follow all directions when placing an order and double check that everything is correct!

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately, not at this time. U.s. orders only.

Where is the store?

You have arrived! Halo Studio Gifts is an online store based out of Dallas, Texas. We currently do not have a physical retail location and we operate exclusively online.

Why isn't the same set of fonts and thread colors offered for each product?

Some of our manufactures monogram in house and some we monogram in our store.  that is why there is variation of the personalization options.

I'm not sure if I entered my monogram or personalization details in correctly, help!!
